Lunar Devas are angelic loremasters, scholars who travel the multiverse in search of any knowledge that can aid the cause of good or harm that of evil. Most Lunar Devas reside in the Sophia Sefira, a divine library that spans the Upper Planes. There, they read, archive, and correlate all the knowledge stored within, searching for any useful lore. Some, however, roam freely throughout the planes, seeking out lost and forgotten knowledge. Lunar Devas are blue-skinned, and their wings have a reflective, metallic hue, like quicksilver. Lunar Devas rarely engage in direct combat, preferring to use their spell-like abilities and incantations, but have no qualms about going in to melee if needed.

Celestial Incantations (Sp)
A Lunar Deva is versed in mystic lore, allowing it to make use of powerful magic incantations. It can use any of the three incantations listed below as a swift action. The DC of a Lunar Deva’s incantations is 17; the save is Charisma-based. Once a Lunar Deva has used an incantation, it cannot use that incantation for 5 rounds. All incantations required the Lunar Deva to speak a short prayer to be used, so the angel cannot use them if gagged or silenced.

Incantation of Celestial Might: This incantation allows the angel to grant a creature within 30 ft. of it a +2 sacred bonus to all ability scores for 5 rounds.

Incantation of Merciful Healing: This incantation heals 1d8 plus the angel’s HD to a creature within 30 ft. of it.

Incantation of Sacred Purity: This incantation allows the angel to fire a ray of holy light with a range of 30 ft, requiring a ranged touch attack to hit. The ray deals 3d6 damage, and an evil creature hit by it must make a Fortitude save or be stunned for 1 round.

Spell-Like Abilities (Sp)
At will—augury, detect evil, identify, see invisibility. 2/day—arcane sight, clairaudience/clairvoyance, prayer. 1/day—cure critical wounds, holy smite (DC 18), spell immunity. Caster level 6th. Saves are Charisma-based.

Protective Aura (Su)
Against attacks made or effects created by evil creatures, this ability provides a +4 deflection bonus to AC and a +4 resistance bonus on saving throws to anyone within 20 feet of a Lunar Deva. Otherwise, it functions as a magic circle against evil effect and a lesser globe of invulnerability, both with a radius of 20 feet, caster level 6th. This aura can be dispelled, but the angel can create it again as a free action on its next turn.

Tongues (Su)
A Lunar Deva can speak with any creature that has a language, as though using a tongues spell, caster level 6th. This ability is always active.

Skills
A Lunar Deva has a +5 racial bonus on all Knowledge (Arcana), Knowledge (Religion), and Knowledge (The Planes) checks.

I am guessing that you meant that it heals 1d8 points of damage and an additional point for every hit die, 1d8+8 to any creature within 30 feet of it, but it wasn't clear.

Shouldn't they have read magic at will? They live in a library!

No, they can just communicate with any living creature AS IF they were under the effect of a Tongues spell. No use what-so-ever for books etc.

Without comprehend languages, they cannot read the books in the library. "You can understand the spoken words of creatures or read otherwise incomprehensible written messages."

Tongues only allows the angel to understand the spoken language.

It's just a matter of switching comprehend languages for tongues. Plus, comprehend languages is a lower level spell.

The Tongues thing is standard for Angels above a certain HD/CR/Coolness level (or maybe all of them, don't know about Lantern Archons). Besides it would help with feild research... I suggest both. Or maybe just give them the Polyglot Epic feat and be done with it.
