Good Music For A "Playful" Opponent?
Since I have run out of witty lead-ups for the day...
Is this a good battle theme for a villain that likes to have "fun"?My Homestuck role is Thane of Space of the Land of Insanity and Frogs.
The Malkavians would be proud.

Re: Good Music For A "Playful" Opponent?
I love that game.
Anyway, god no, that's not the song you want to use. The beat is good but the "dad dum" or whatever the do-op in the middle is drives me insane.
I'd suggest more songs but I'd need more details of the villain."Buddy, if I bothered to think like that would I be standing here today with an octopus-god larva growing out of my neck?"
Suh'Zahne, Cultist of Ur
"Since things can't possibly get any worse, Red Mage, we turn to you."
"Prepare to be proved wrong!"

Out of curiosity, is this for your "super soldiers" campaign?
And indeed, more info on the villain could be useful. My suggestion would be this Disgaea 2 song, though.
Siela Tempo by the talented Kasanip. Tengu by myself.

Ooh, that's pretty nice. Feels like I'm at a twisted fashion show.

Sounds like you need something with more perk, something sultery. Wood wind and low bass, that sort of thing. Maybe something fluty.
I wish I had the address right now but I don't. There's an excellent site I know for finding music (not lyrics, just music) royalty free. I use it for my campaigns sometimes. As soon as I find the address I'll post it here.Last edited by Tadanori Oyama; 2008-07-30 at 05:26 PM.

Benny Hill themesong.
Doesn't get much more playful than that.
Bit obnoxious, but what're you gonna do...

I recommend the main title theme from Quigley Down Under. That's the one he uses to deal with the rude guy trying to push past the older woman as they're disembarking the ship. Isn't a rifle butt to the nads playful?
