I was reading book about how planes that occupy the same coordinates in the 2 dimensions that constitute probability end up as alternate universes, and thus cause one of them to be separated almost completely by the rest of the multiverse. This arises from a fault inherent in one of the planes' Tachyons and Neutralinoes. Their spin is imaginary, and that causes the normal methods of creating overlaps in planes to fail. (See pgs. 425-463) No force at the time of publishing this book has been recorded that can sufficiently alter the spin of an alternate-planes' Tachyons and Neutralinoes without direct intervention from a god. However, there are several hypothesized methods of inter-planar travel that involve using neither Tachyons or Neutralinoes as a part of the fabric-overlapment process.
