I'm not convinced that I'd pass if someone that didn't know sat down and had a proper conversation with me; I've not done that with anyone that didn't know, though, so I have no data.

As for effort, not that much. At a minimum I shave, use foundation, and brush my hair of a morning, then I might put on some lipstick or mascara. That's it.

Well, part of me wants to put forth that the period where you were actively trying to be as androgynous as possible has probably helped, but, well, I don't really know, now do I?

Effort-wise, if I rush I can go from bed to presentable and out the door in about half an hour. That is in panic-speed mode, though.

Last time I got sick was about two years ago... Right now, I can't handle cold, need so many warms, and I can feel. everything. I can't sleep more than two hours at a time with out losing things I didn't even know I ate, and my body hates movement with a rebellious passion.

Help? I was told it might be the flu...

Well, medical advice is against the rules. So, see a doctor if it lasts more than two days.
Depends what I have, most stuff I just ignore, serious stuff can lay me up though. One of the times I had pneumonia, I came down with it the evening of my high school graduation, ended up passing out in the car, and spent the next eight days running a 104°F/40°C fever. (My Physiology professors said that humans aren't supposed to survive consistent core temperatures of 40° and above, so I dunno, maybe I've been dead for the last few years? So why do I still need to shave?) I lay on the couch and watched Avatar reruns.

That's a lot of effort from my perspective. Though I am a bit allergic to makeup (I had a sister. She liked putting makeup on me while I slept so I woke up to really itchy eyes and a red face. In hindsight it was quite funny actually). You probably also take care about what you wear, unless you look good and feminine in anything that's in your wardrobe. I know I have to be careful with what I wear because for some reason in the past week I've found womens' jeans among my trousers and a pink converse shoe!

Actually on an off-note I never really wore bandaids on cuts and scratches because I used to get a lot of them as a kid. A few years ago, my sister got pacman bandaids and found it funny to put them as an 'X' on my face. They were only on my face for about half a minute, but for the rest of Christmas dinner I had a red 'X' on my face. XD

Yup, I've always gotten that too. I don't know how sensitive I am now because I haven't used any in years. Sports tape over sterile pads usually works fine for me, though. Minor irritation if I have to leave it on for more than a day or two but nothing like as bad as some band-aids.

I twisted my ankle and possibly sprained my wrist in gym. And, to top off my AMAZING day, I learn that my closest friends might go to jail because of a mistake he made. It's not his fault he might go, but, rather, this one guy and girl who, together, tricked him into doing a few things that he was pressured to do, and, since he generally avoids conflict, he just complied. Now, he could be in trouble and there's not a damn thing I can do about it. Why does my life fall apart at the worst times?

I personally don't have M2F on my profile because I don't really identify that way anymore. I'm female. I've always struggled with being proud of being transgender. I think a lot of us trans people struggle with pride. :\

Nah, that's okay. I don't use it for similar reasons, my gender isn't 'trans woman', it's 'woman'. Trans just says stuff about my history. (And I think MtF and FtM are pretty iffy labels by themselves.)

I keep getting cited as this amazing example of how good a trans girl can look. I'm not sure I know how to respond - I'm pre-everything, I can't possibly look as fantastic as you guys keep saying. I mean, I know I don't look bad, and I'm pretty sure I pass to casual observation, but I'm sure you guys are going overboard!

* The glasses and long luxurious hair thing as a combo lots of people find really cute in a girl.

* You also seem to have an unnaturally good eye for picking out outfits that work well with your bodyshape - possibly another side benefit from acting?

I've not done that much acting. I've been in a couple of AmDram productions, is all, and one of those I was chorus. Other than that, I haven't acted since GCSE Drama.
