While I can understand Roy's extreme anger, making her more angry and more sure of her course of action was probably not the smartest thing to do... Probably would've been better to try and imobile her with either guilt or doubt.

Also, I don't get the "treasure type O" thing. I think it might be a reference to a previous edition, and I also get what it seems to be from context, but that's as far as I can tell.

I can't believe this, but I'd actually been so caught up in the story, I'd forgotten Belkar still has that mystical dog collar on him. Things just went for interesting to HIGHLY interesting.

I don't get it. The only one with reason to attack was Hinjo. She wasn't going after Roy. Seems fake.

And here I had the crazy notion that having the gods themselves smite her would change her.

I mean, damn, she must think that Roy is one BAMF if he managed to trick all 12 of the deities she worships.

Still, love the fighting. Miko is still the best way to introduce conflict into this comic.

I think she might've if Roy hadn't decided it was time to kick her while she was down. Admittedly, I haven't been on board with the whole "down with Roy" movement that seems to have been developing of late, but this was a particularly idiotic move on his part.

Also, I really, really liked Belkar in this strip, so I have that to fall back on for sake of not-repeating the same bit we liked.

Edit: Expanding: If I were leading a party that had been jerked around by some muckity-muck NPC for the last 200 strips, only to receive concrete proof that she was off her rocker, working to the detriment of of all existence, and see her strike down the only person that ever gave me a straight answer, I'd lay the smack down, too.

It's funny--as irritating as a person that Miko has been, I'm actually starting to develop some sympathy for her. Mostly along the lines of watching how her personal flaws (rash, headstrong insistence that she knows what the gods want, even if it seems contrary to standard morality) are getting in the way of her honest desire to uphold the good. I actually sort of hope something will actually come along and give her a chance at redemption, although I can see her either missing it or refusing to believe it when it comes along.
