Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
New request, this time for my personal D&D character.
Features in order of relevance:
Male
Human
Barbarian
2-Handed Weapon
As little armor as possible
Slight Viking theme
Bonus Internets if any of the following are also present:
Slaughtering hordes of Orcs/Goblins/etc by the dozens
Crazed/Bloodlust mode activated, could be anything from glowing eyes, power steaming off of his skin, bloody explosions
Weapon being wielded is awesomely magical looking, or very non-traditional in design, spikes, serration, jagged corners, gems, strange auras a plus.Last edited by Mongobear; 2015-12-15 at 05:50 PM.

Barbarian types. For some reason most of them have the same scowling expression. :)

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Ive been following these threads since their inception but this is my first time to request something. Ive been trying to find without success a decent picture of an Enduk; winged minotaurs from the savage coast. Preferably not looking like hes standing in the pits of hell. And also a female version if that at all exists. Thanks.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Well, the sample creature for the Half Fiend Template in Pathfinder is a Minotaur. So at least there's plenty of pictures of miniatures of that monster.
Spoiler
I suppose with the right filters this could look more drawn than a miniature 'shopped before some artificial background.Last edited by Spore; 2015-12-22 at 06:23 AM.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Okay here's another request... let's see if you guys can find something better than i have. I'll try to be as specific as i can.
- Male
- Human or Half-Elf
- Good alignment (has to look like a good guy, AKA no evil stare or smile) *EDIT*
- Wearing armor (not heavy armor), extra cookies if it has a shield. More extra cookies if its wielding or wearing something with a symbol. Even more extra cookies if it has other equipment (scrolls, backpack, belt bags, potions ,etc)
- Has to be making some sort of magic glow
- Has to look caster-ish (think of it as a cleric/wizard)
- No androgyny (must not swing to the other side, AKA likes big buns and dislikes sausages)
- No asian, african, egyptian or arabic motifs
Guess that's all i can think of, might look easy, but believe me it's not.Last edited by Zaetar; 2015-12-23 at 03:57 AM.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Hence the little edit on the list. Too evil. Im trying to make a cleric summoner. The guy that summons sacred beasts. The second one is a straight wizard and the third wears heavy armor.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
I think the only reason this is "hard" is because you want something incredibly specific without commissioning a specific piece of art. All of your listed criteria are easily met, but then you keep saying stuff like "too asian-ish" for the guy in very European-looking chainmail and "too wizard" for the guy in a breastplate with a holy symbol.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Or you dont like criticism, the first sentence of my request said that i have already something, it's not good for what i want that's why i asked you guys. The first one you linked was plain evil, and i edited the criteria after it. The second one is a straight out wizard, i'm asking for armor and said that somewhere between a cleric and a wizard. The third guy was either a front line cleric or a paladin, wearing full plate, which is heavy armor, which i said "no heavy armor". The last one has the face of some asian person, not european at all.
You mixed things in your last comment. What kind of commission do you want?

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Redoing my earlier request, hoping to be more clear.
Gneder: Male
Race: Human
Class: Savage Barblade
Interesting stuff: Hes a Baron on the northern border of the kingdom. Its the border thats also shared by an undead wasteland, so he has that aura of "barely contained violence". Even with that he still looks like a lord.
Appearance: Medium length hair, nice beard
Weapon: Broadsword, one handed
Hope you guys have better luck than me, i cant seem to find a picture that doesnt look like some politicking pomp or a burly barbarian man.Last edited by Blackhawk748; 2015-12-23 at 05:31 PM.

Re: Dungeons and Dreamboats VII: Come for the Art, Stay for the Arguments
Guess i'll have to pay someone or stick to the one i found, thanks anyway. :( i wish there was less female characters art and more male characters... So far I've found every character i've made exactly as i thought except for the fact that they are women, why on earth do artists only draw women?!
