    THe quartet of Wraiths come swooping in silently on evil winds spreading out to attack as many of the party as possible as Roger rides out to one side, an arrow piercing one of the wraiths. Izz leaps to her by Darsalla and Timishko ready to defend her lands whilst Tsythus backpedals across the graveyard.

    One of the wraiths still shimmering having had the arrow tear through him swoops after Roger the creature flying silently in the darkness catching up to the horseman. The other three pour into the graveyard to attack Izzy, Timoshko and Darsalla

    The horse does not like the wraith one bit. It's all too eager to get away from it, like, right now. Roger does not quite mind. He guides his horse to withdraw from the wraith for up to 100 feet and behind someone or something. The rest of the animals get even further away.

    The wraiths flood into the graves and the party spreading evil and death wherever they go! The wraith that was pursuing Roger continues to chase down the mounted man, horse rearing angrily but the spectral figure is slowed by the strands of graves and rocks and although it reaches the ranger it cannot reach up to attack him. The wraith by Izzy seems to almost solidfy as it sucks the life force out of her even as the pair of swords twist and tear into its frame but the others can only watch as Izzy goes pale and shaky and collapses to the ground barely breathing. The wraith, exulted on the life energy ignores the crackling bomb from the alchemist before swooping over Tysthus.

    The other two circle around Timishko and Darsalla, spectral claws reaching through the orc and halfling to pull out their life essence.

    "Everyone try targeting the one Izzy hit!" shouts Roger as he breaks the distance again, riding more or less back where he was just a few moments before and again with the same obstacle between him and "his" wraith. He wasn't quite doing anything of value, especially now that the number of "us" dropped down to the number of "them", but still sees some hope in their tactics of one-separate-target-per-wraith.

    The wraiths like deadly shadows continue to circle around, spreading chill horror and death in their wake! Even as Izzy falls they scatter around the graveyard seeking the still living prey to feast upon! Timoshko falls upon his wraith slashing with claws that tear wisps for freezing fog free that drift away whilst the fourth one is lucky as the alchemist's bomb sails through it and explodes just beyond catching it only the edge of the explosion.

    The three wraiths battling with Tysthus, Darsalla and Timoshko continue their attack whilst the fourth one, tired of the man and horse running in circles turns and instead swoops to join of its dark spectral kin.

    Finally! Roger whips past, acing on his horse that is wild eyed with terror at the black shapes of death and pain launching a pair of arrows that pause in the air as they land within one of the wraiths attacking the alchemist. Behind him there is an explosion as Tsythus drops a bomb nearly at his ow feet but when it clears one of the wraiths evaporates with the clearing smoke! The other though.. it eyes burn with fire as it looks towards him hungrily. Timoshko's seems thinner again as the barbarian's claws pull and tear at the shadow stuff leaving rimes of ice on his forearms, its still there but much smaller than it had been!
