Who else is looking forward to International Suit Up Day? (Oct 13)
To see the world in a grain of sand
and Heaven in a wild flower
To hold infinity in the palm of your hand
and eternity in an hour.

Yes, that's the one; I'm still a humble student, so casual wear is the norm for me.

We've progressed from observing Hallmark holidays to observing Facebook holidays. Truly, democracy is the least worst way of designating a holiday. . .
(waits for the shapes to stop spinning)
. . .and I don't think I can make my suit without. . .*shiver* tailoring it, let alone on a timetable. I just had to pick a style without a fold-over collar, didn't I.

So, I'm watching Pirates of Penzance, recorded live at the Sydney Opera House. The pirate king is Captian Jack Sparrow... (by costume and behaviour, not actor)

Err, you would have to sue the company that put on this particular performance, as they are the ones who stole the character from Disney and put it into Gilbert and Sullivan's work .
He had the exact same costume, as well as sounding and behaving exactly the same. I mean, it was even clear that the character wasn't exactly sober either!

Re: Archonic's Archaic Acronymical Antidisestablishmentarianism Random banter 148
Another couple I know just got engaged. Everyone I know is getting married. I'm going to have to endure yet more endless questions about when I'll be tying the knot. We're all only in our early twenties! Am I the only person who thinks this is too young to get married?
Edit: Hah, I've just noticed Rawhide's title. S'cute.Last edited by Phaedra; 2010-10-11 at 07:30 AM.

@ Ipod Battle Map: ...DO WANT. D:
Rawhide's title is totally cute.
And I know how you feel. My girlfriend and I are both in our early twenties and constantly being asked when we are going to tie the knot. NOT. YET. It is definitely not the right time to be doing that, and we will be the ones who decide when it is. Not anyone else.
Besides, even if we did, it would then turn to questions of when we are going to have kids, and that would be even MORE annoying.

Re: Archonic's Archaic Acronymical Antidisestablishmentarianism Random banter 148
From reading the news, apparently there was this girl who wrote a letter to 'Jack Sparrow' asking for help in
mutinyingmutiningmutingstaging a mutiny against her teachers at school in the London area, and the letter got to johnny depp, who is currently in London to film PotC 4, and he turned up at the school and dissuaded the students from staging said mutiny.

This is new to me: car damage by (presumed) falling rocks. No, nobody died, but there's a deep scrape in the bodywork which has begun to rust. I hesitate to apply steel wool because of, well, paint still being all around the hole. Could I just slap some rustoleum on the spot and call it good?
