    Dire Stirge's Bite
You've learned well from the insects.
Requirements: Bite natural attack, Improved Natural Attack, Improved Grapple.
Benefit:When you constrict or bite a foe you're grappling, you may have the target make a fortitude save. If they fail, you may deal 2 points of constition damage. If you deal constitution damage this way, you heal HP equal to the target's Hit Dice. The save is strength based (10 + 1/2 HD +Strength modifier).

So this thread was pretty successful. The shorter form entries are easier to work with, right? What hsould the next one be?

I kind of want to do truenamer utterances, because then would would have more material for that class than the whole ToM.

Well, I think we can do it some good. It's only real problem is the lousy effects. The laws and skill DCs are no problem for a proper builder. Besides, I want to keep you lean for the Games.

I'd be down for maneuvers, I don't think they'd be terribly different from spells though. And we'd have to make sure we had enough for a full discipline

We could get a whole discipline. Honestly, it'd be easier if we just grouped all of them under 1 discipline. "Playing Giants" or something.

Elder Evils would be fun, but a lot of work.

    Neat! Permission granted.

Also, I would be all over a GitP regulars as soulmelds/veils. In fact....
If Master of Ceremonies Snowbluff starts the thread, this coming Friday we could hold a vote for all the veils made using the Akashic Mysteries rules, and the best one could be featured in the upcoming Supplemental release, with an honorable mention for both the author and the forum-goer the veil is based on in the foreword. How's that sound?

Maneuvers and/or soulmelds would be fine, but I'm not experienced with soulmelds really. I think Elder Evils would be extremely fun, and I might actually have an idea for an Elder Evil based on Red Fel (psst... It might have something to do with your Deity entry. Just saying.), though I do agree that it would be a ton of work.

Also, can we please stop contemplating using me as a soul harvesting source and general sacrifice for all your nefarious schemes? With your bothering me incessantly, I barely have enough to time to do ANYTHING.

Oh by the way, I'm back from the competition. My orchestra got Superior Rating, Best in class, and my school got overall outstanding. Pretty happy about that, even factoring in the wicked sunburn I have because I forgot to sunscreen my neck.

Sunburns are rough. My second to last day of my honeymoon in the Caribbean I got a wicked sunburn playing on the beach in St. Maarten, and now my skin is flaking away from my forehead and shoulders, leaving behind only molten fire and ineffable pain.

Ooh! If we do the soulmelds/veils thing, I may need to do one with the [Pain] and [Fire] descriptors that allows you to torture someone with a horrific sunburn.... Anyone think of a poster who'd be accurately described as a living sunburn? (Actually, don't answer that....)
