Great comic, yay for trying wands! Even though Haley is still a beginner with that. I was expecting her to go for Obscuring Mist and get away quietly, myself.

Also, hopefully there's no possible way for even the most devious mind to find exception with the way sexuality issues are handled in that one. That's a relief, forum-wise.

If she was using the Manyshot feat (which I believe she's been established to have) then it would be a single roll to determine if all three hit or missed.

I'd guess Multi-shot (1 attack roll, multiple arrows fired) mixed with a low roll.

Haley uses Manyshot: It's a single attack roll for all three. If she rolls low, all of them miss.

Also, it's not a Multishot, it's a (non-Rapid Shot) full attack condensed into one panel. Note the three separate FFT! sound effects.

I was going to put that, but a natural 1 would be illustrated differently I like to think. That's a critical failure on Haley's part: she shot at a 90 degree angle straight up, or missed by a mile. You can see the little movement-indicating thing showing that Crystal moved out of the way of the arrows. It was Crystal's dodge that made her miss, not Haley's screwup.

Granted, maybe I'm reading too much into it; Crystal does look kinda unconcerned as she watches the arrows fly by, so it might've just been Haley rolling low. However, I think the gist of my post is still relevant: that Crystal has become a sufficient enough threat that Haley and Bandana have to run until an opportunity arises.

(I may or may not have been looking for a way to use the term "kiting", too, so there's that )
