It's a discussion about your claim that football came from America, which it didn't. American football, which is not the only football to use a handegg, can trace its roots all the way back to the UK.

That's like saying i'm not from Texas because texas was once part of mexico and america was once part of britain >.>

It started as a variant, and then became it's own sport. The sport version was founded in america, therefore it's from america.

For that analogy to work, you would need to be the ball that is used in the game of American football. You are an American football because you were made for the game, but the game came from an earlier game, which came from an earlier game.
