After someone points one out, Melk will set the crystal on a small rock and take a few practice swings at it with his hammer. After the 3rd swing, he smashes the small stone into tiny piece in an act to summon the elemental of earth.
Noticing the strange ire in both Shiver and Shakes eyes, Melk give his first order to the massive creature (if it appears) after clearing his throat.

"Sir rock creature, can you do me a favor and search earth beneath us for some diamonds? Any size will do. I do hope that is within your power sir."
