I would apologize for posting here far less often than my usual (and for the massive walls of quotes that I leave when I do), but to be perfectly honest, I'm a bit tense and too worn out to actually mean it.

Thank you kindly. I am feeling better now. It has been a huge comfort to pop in to this forum when I can and say hello to friends. It feels so safe and happy here.

Oh, chivalrous and gallant Mynxalot, no that's not it! Well, he nearly broke certain other parts of me on Friday, but my heart was safe and sound.
And while I will miss the company, the tangles of my hair shall not miss the mess you leave when you go.
That reminds me... I had a mind to record some things... I should get to that when I have the time.

    Good to hear.

I'll have you know I laughed for a solid five minutes or so at this.

But but but, there's so much to do before class. Well. Sort of. Not yet but soon! Then again I'm utterly bored right now with nothing to do, so I would be thrilled if I had uni work to occupy myself with at the moment. Oh, the frustration of life!
It was all memorization and math, and no precise manipulation of chemicals. That made it far easier to do. It's much easier to get a lab right if you don't have to hold something steady and measure it.

Look, I'm willing to accept a few punches in exchange for a game of chess. Just don't be surprised if I decide to bring some padding...

*nods* Well, you can always have some of mine...

    *nods* Indeed.

Eh, but I'm kind of indifferent on what colour my eyes are... it doesn't bother me that they don't know what to pick. My driver's license says green, so officially that's what I go with.

Admittedly, I do believe that I have blank sheet music running around in a suitable quantity. If it merely uses five strings, then I am golden. On the other hand, I just copy down music in standard notation and work from there.

That's the spirit! Okay... I really don't know what I'm going on about here...
Honestly, that's one of the hardest chords to do; it's in an awkward spot, and even with a lot of practice, it'll still feel weird to fret. I've only rather recently (in the past 6 months/year) been able to play it well consistently. If your action is too high (the strings too far from the frets), it'll be nigh-impossible to fret, and if your action is too low (strings too close to the frets), then it'll make a bunch of string noise regardless. It's a chord I try to avoid playing barred the whole way if I can.

*nods* Whatever works is good. I've found typing tabs up (courier new is a good font for that) works pretty well also - (and you can probably just copy-paste some tabs onto your computer)... granted, not as useful if you don't have a laptop, or can't practice in front of a desktop.

    Heheheh

Well, I like a lot of things, and finding artists similar to a certain style isn't too difficult (although again, I'm more familiar with some things than I am with others), as long a you know what style you're looking for. Harp music I probably can't help you with, though.

*nods* Well, not always, but that does tend to happen in the winter here, aye.

Life needs to learn how to get off the road. People are busy having fun!

I love surprising weird, because whenever I recognize myself falling into a rhythm I want to break free and do something else. (This philosophy doesnt work very well with school...)

I did not miss it the first time. I also think it is brilliant.

I love it for both the "Tehee, Teddy used fauns" and the "Sheepyeti Faun Toss!"

Same with me, but I also use it to just lazeeeee.

Edit:I agree, Benedict Cumberbatch is *bad horrible pun*.

Also Edit:A page ago, Thur spoke about misreading "sleep addled" as "sheep addled". HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL? I'm just skimming a thread, being a happy little innocent sheep, and I see "sleep" and go "huebhwa ME?!?". Then I recognize how silly I am and go sleep myself.

Well, Dragon*Con was a trip and a half. So much UST. More UST than anyone's body has room for. Which is why it was on the walls, the ceiling, and the neighbor's brony. Indeed, I think I gained some insight into the genesis and evolution of risque cosplay and cosplay porn. A sadder but wiser man, I think, though it was a pretty sweet ride at times as well.

Yep. Then my camera's battery died and I couldn't find the charger until the trip home.

I might have some designs upon that sort of thing. Then again, I might not. I'm sure it'd greatly upset thufir, for starters. Though running from the ensuing lynch mob might make for a rousing musical number...

Oh, yes. I too, should greet the new cat. Hi fellow animal themed poster! (There are lots of us, but only a few humans, and only a handful of Giants. We can take 'em!)
Good question. I don't really want to know. Or maybe you passed the test. :P

Indeed, some kind of spirit of camraderie, or at least being too busy being focused on getting to the next thing to crucify me for naturally being a bit too Thraddashy for my own good.

The Dragon*Con Parade. It was wonderful. There was even a contingent of be-kilted Stormtroopers lead by one with bagpipes.

I think Coid is assuming you're LGBT from your name. Is that not the case? Either way, lots of friendly people there, too.

(Also, I totally almost put those in queer tags instead of quote tags. Oops. )

    *hisses agreement*

Are you asking what snuggles are, or tentatively returning them? Either way, am a very huggy snake, so if you'd prefer not to be cuddled senseless, just lemme know.
Ah, okay. I am queer, I just haven't used LGBTA in a long time. I prefer GSRM (Gender, Sexuality, and Romantic Minorities). I don't know what snuggles are, but they sound fun?

Likewise. It is much less used, unfortunately.

I asked this question some months ago; the answer I obtained was that it was a full-body hug. (Or was that a cuddle...?)

I am writing this late. One of my old friends was found dead and I found out about it today. We were not close but he still died alone out in the woods and nobody will say whether it was or was not suicide.

I understand. I am wordless in the face of that evil yet I only read about it and was not there. You were.

I'll join you down the pub for some non-boozey drinks and terrible cheesy music on the jukebox though.

And I do love a good debate. And a good argument. And a good bicker. Though I do hope I lose to you sometimes.

My meds went tits up, actually made the depression worse and shot my already shaky sleeping patterns to death and misery; my granddad had a stroke, may have cancer, but he's too old for the surgery and chemo could kill him too (still trying), oh, and his beloved dog probably'll be put down because of a spinal injury; Little Sister failed half her exams and I stressed out for a while trying to figure out a way to stop the college straight up expelling her and allow her to keep attending (I did); Bees had a week where he decided to push every single button I had - and it was my fault I reacted by screaming and shouting when he essentially called me a racist monster who should have been aborted at birth - so I had to apologise to him. Otherwise he would do bad things. And the drinking incident. And everyone tells me when bad things happen to them because it makes them feel better, so I can't tell them it makes me feel worse.
And the 'I have no friends to talk to, and I just can't find the energy to type. OR READ' problem. And the moment of terror where I want everything to stop and the things I'm thinking of are bad.
Then the clawing back up the mountain.
I sincerely hope no one reading this has ever felt this way. Ever.
    Still, getting better.
Most of that was not evil. Very bad but not evil. But that Bees was not punished was evil. If that was set right would you be able to talk again?

Perhaps the primary difference is that we do not have a conveniently place thermometer at my house. There is one, but I am uncertain of its accuracy and it's not in plain view so I don't bother with it.
People clean ceilings? Ceilings get dirty? Doesn't dirt fall down?

The thermometer here is near the bathroom and so I pass it more than once a day. It is dry here and so the temperature changes every day and keeps it interesting.

If your action is too high (the strings too far from the frets), it'll be nigh-impossible to fret, and if your action is too low (strings too close to the frets), then it'll make a bunch of string noise regardless. It's a chord I try to avoid playing barred the whole way if I can.
Thank you. I wondered why I could hear the strings go squeak sometimes but never asked.
I have found a RL gaming group but I'm willing to meet other GitP people nearby.

Depends on if you like being touched or not, but I'm a fan. Granted, I seem to be hyper-libidinous when compared to my peers, aside from the type that likes to actively think of themselves as "alpha males" and mostly spend their time blustering and posturing.

I like GSRM more myself, but it seems to be less accessible to general conversation and always reminds me of the DSM-V. x.x

I love being touched. ;) And the DSM is awesome. I love psychology. I'm considering changing my major to it.

Well, there are non-full body hugs, too. Snuggles are more along the lines of cuddles, though, I think, in being super warm and generally involving curling up entwined with someone in a comfy place. *nodnod*
