Admittedly, I do believe that I have blank sheet music running around in a suitable quantity. If it merely uses five strings, then I am golden. On the other hand, I just copy down music in standard notation and work from there.

Honestly, that's one of the hardest chords to do; it's in an awkward spot, and even with a lot of practice, it'll still feel weird to fret. I've only rather recently (in the past 6 months/year) been able to play it well consistently. If your action is too high (the strings too far from the frets), it'll be nigh-impossible to fret, and if your action is too low (strings too close to the frets), then it'll make a bunch of string noise regardless. It's a chord I try to avoid playing barred the whole way if I can.

*nods* Whatever works is good. I've found typing tabs up (courier new is a good font for that) works pretty well also - (and you can probably just copy-paste some tabs onto your computer)... granted, not as useful if you don't have a laptop, or can't practice in front of a desktop.

Eh... I have niche interests that are difficult to satisfy. That, and they fluctuate more than the tuning of a piccolo. For example, I've been listening to harp constantly for the past week.

You do have snow after all. My entire state is snow free save for Stanthorpe and a couple other places down there, and they don't get much snow at all. I can't even recall the last time it snowed in Toowoomba, and that's up in the mountains.

Well, I like a lot of things, and finding artists similar to a certain style isn't too difficult (although again, I'm more familiar with some things than I am with others), as long a you know what style you're looking for. Harp music I probably can't help you with, though.

I am writing this late. One of my old friends was found dead and I found out about it today. We were not close but he still died alone out in the woods and nobody will say whether it was or was not suicide.

I don't really have anything to say for once, this is a rarity for me. Online at any rate. In real life, I barely have anything to say, especially to my family because they have this way of guilt slinging that makes my throat swell shut, my stomach ache and blaming me for anything.

I understand. I am wordless in the face of that evil yet I only read about it and was not there. You were.

How wasted? :smallcurious: I could do with a - no. No I couldn't. When your mother drinks until she vomits (in fairness it was mostly the Neighbour's fault) and is a depressed, sobbing mess for half an hour, and you just cannot move because you can't do emotions when you're not Right, and then you have to clean up the entire kitchen and bathroom floor and sterilise twice you go off drink.
I'll join you down the pub for some non-boozey drinks and terrible cheesy music on the jukebox though.

And I do love a good debate. And a good argument. And a good bicker. Though I do hope I lose to you sometimes.

My meds went tits up, actually made the depression worse and shot my already shaky sleeping patterns to death and misery; my granddad had a stroke, may have cancer, but he's too old for the surgery and chemo could kill him too (still trying), oh, and his beloved dog probably'll be put down because of a spinal injury; Little Sister failed half her exams and I stressed out for a while trying to figure out a way to stop the college straight up expelling her and allow her to keep attending (I did); Bees had a week where he decided to push every single button I had - and it was my fault I reacted by screaming and shouting when he essentially called me a racist monster who should have been aborted at birth - so I had to apologise to him. Otherwise he would do bad things. And the drinking incident. And everyone tells me when bad things happen to them because it makes them feel better, so I can't tell them it makes me feel worse.
And the 'I have no friends to talk to, and I just can't find the energy to type. OR READ' problem. And the moment of terror where I want everything to stop and the things I'm thinking of are bad.
Then the clawing back up the mountain.
I sincerely hope no one reading this has ever felt this way. Ever.

Perhaps the primary difference is that we do not have a conveniently place thermometer at my house. There is one, but I am uncertain of its accuracy and it's not in plain view so I don't bother with it.

The thermometer here is near the bathroom and so I pass it more than once a day. It is dry here and so the temperature changes every day and keeps it interesting.
