Ok, can anybody tell me why I haven't bought Volibear? I mean, he is awesome. Really fun on Dominion... (Yes, I'm one of htose goofballs that actually plays Dominon and enjoys it)

Eldariel and I actually are high level dominion players. Voli is not super strategic on dominion FYI because his lack of range makes it hard to establish and create brush control, since the dominion meta is all about picks and vision control, which can only be created by warm bodies and not just wards.

got a point there, however, I find his speed and map movability makes up for it. Also he shreds carries like Teemo and ezreal. And by shred I mean into a thousand pieces

Plus, the throw is really nice for fights at top... Especially vs. Anivia, cause you're flippin' a bird

    Cooldowns? What are cooldowns?

By that I mean Ryze is not in a great spot because his ranges got nerfed. He was very strong before, and they didn't touch his cooldowns or CDR at all, so that has nothing to do with his issues.

If there's anybody you can make that argument for, it's Lissandra. Passive for free spells with huge spell costs = "balanced", but nobody really plays her any more.

But she's a good pick, especially for TT.

You really don't have a better mid laner for sheer initiation potential nowadays.

The assassin meta will die down and Lissandra will be played. She has already seen play and is plenty viable.

Lissandra has already made several appearances at World's. Royal Club felt the need to ban Lissandra every single game against Fnatic.

Did I miss some sort of announcement about rune pages being on sale? I don't remember seeing anything, but I also don't know how long they've been buy-one-get-one.

So did he just find it when he went into the menus? Do the buttons actually do the things?

Yep. That's live, and setup to only display to him.
He was not made aware that this was a thing before hand.

The buttons don't actually do anything. It was very tempting to make tons of damage cause crits to flash the text tons of damage, but we would've rather not had to spend any QA resources on a troll.

Quick question. What are you hyper specialised in? Or, rather, what do you do at Riot?

    I've started streaming again.

She honestly seems to be rapidly de-specializing, but she was originally hired because of her proof-of-concept menu design that she posted to their forums a year or two ago. Our modern menu system is basically her resume implemented into the game.

Really? I heard it was because she dug up some good dirt on the Riot staff and blackmailed them into declaring her overlord.

If you remembered the old menu, you wouldn't be saying that. 'Course, I can't blame you for forgetting it, since it was completely eclipsed by the new menu.

It was actually to prevent the double teleport, since Kassadin and Lissandra are the preferred champions of xPeke and Soaz respectively in that comp. The Kassadin was targeted at Peke, the Lissandra at Soaz.

Personally I picked up Lissandra a little over a month ago and I'm finding her to be awesome. She does low damage but has both strong laning and tons of CC. She might be better top than mid.

How is that relevant? This isn't a 'skill' thing, this is basic mechanic theory. I just need to look at the kit and go "yup, that's the problem, right there".
    A) Its obviously a skill thing because I don't see that as the problem. One of us has to be wrong there. It is possible I am a ****ty player who is bad a balance (this is likely the case).

    B) If you haven't noticed, I'm not necessarily trying to bring about debate here. I like Zilean because I like spamming W to lower CDs. I like the FEEL of that ability. If its ****, that's too bad, I also liked WW, GP, and Yorick when they were all broken, and I loved their kits. I still do, actually, I just don't play them because they are ****.

I'm sorry if my anedoctal experience in an attempt to have fun clash your objective reality of "this hero sucks because of XYZ spells" that I find are the cool and interesting part of that hero.

Kk. Thanks for all the responses

I figured you were a Software Engineer, but when you said hyper specialised I was like Do they hire her to just fix up a part of the game that's coded in a completely foreign language that was somehow put in the game and no one knows how to read it or how it works but it does and therefore the game ac?

3.5 Wizard? Soooo, did I ever mention how much I love the game that you clearly created by yourself without any help and how there is absolutely nothing wrong with it at all?
