"What a fascinating and monstrous device, but with Augustille in hand, we really should take our leave." Sisir says, before addressing his brother in Giant, <"I think it's fair to say you've done nothing worse than me today brother.">

Akif looks at the troll warily before glancing around the room. As the explanation is given he shakes his head "The savagery of the younger races is a think is a thing I find sad." he says quietly to his brother. Before looking to the scribe and Myki. "Is there much else you wish to do here?"

The Scribe looks to Myki, "If you don't mind, we'd like you to look over our charge," and here he points to Augustille, "while the rest of us go through the house for a quick looting before heading outside to deal with the carnivorous plants." Turning to the rest, "Gentlemen, sound like a plan?"

"Yes, let us see what we can find and then take on the plants.", Iluvar agrees.

[DrK]

Akif nods, "Yes, we can clear the house of danger and magical trinkets" he suggests gesturing for them to lead on as they can sweep the building.

[Tippnick]

"Let us retrace our steps if we have everything off the mage and this room.", Iluvar directs.

[Qazgir]

Sisir

"I believe thats the case, after you." Sisir gestures towards the door.

[Tippnick]

If the bedroom is also searched then Iluvar will head west and down the stairs.

Administrative Tracking ...

The following spells/ effects all drop in the meantime..

• Everyone's Ashen Path. All stances and fighting styles.
• Myki: She is now full size again, significantly less agile (though still insanely dexterous), and no longer flying. Several extracts + mutagen still active.
• Augustille: Fully healed, guided by Myki who is now in the rear of the looting/ plant-killing bravos.
• Iluvar: Haste, divine favor lapsed. Lit sunrod still in hand. Judgment and bane stopped with battle's end. Protection from energy [electricity] still active.
• Akif: Tactical presence. Reset light on spear.
• The Scribe: Nothing else active.
• Sisir: Divine favor and mirror image lapsed. Obscuring mist assumed dropped, and useless now anyway because of fixed position. Reset light on shield.

The idea is to kill big plants you saw deeper in the garden to the east.

Iluvar suggests, "Attacking one at a time and from range as long as we can should be best. Let us advance quietly until we see one. Brothers, are you able to lead us?"

Sisir returns to his normal size and nods, "I believe we can take the lead."

Akif also nods, pausing to expand, swelling to fill the cramped hallway as he stretches, smiling as he returns to his normal size. "That is better, to not be so small and constrained." he adds before odding, "My brother and I can form a wall to crush them upon."

Of course, with the vegetation of the garden, they are unable to stand side-by-side but to go single-file down the garden path, anyway. With their new height advantage, they easily see the plant-monsters, though they are just as easily seen themselves. The plant creatures signal this by giving squealing roars each.

R1T18: The Scribe gives a smile and starts telling a story about a Nirmathi warrior woman who cut down many blighted plants in the Fangwood of her home country. The story instantly has a verve that puts a steps into every warrior's heart. He then gets into a fighting stance and zooms down the path but takes a sharp turn south towards the edge of the Hanging Manse itself, though his story is still harder to hear from that point.

Images of plate armor being forged fill Sisir mind, as his skin changes to resemble iron. Defenses in place, Sisir strides past his brother towards the Scribe, fixing his gaze on the first enemy he sees.

Tricks: If anyone with Mask Misery implanted become affected by any of the following conditions activate Mask Misery: Confused, dazed, frightened, sickened. If anyone with Mesmeric Mirror is attacked or targeted by a spell which requires an attack roll, trigger Mesmeric Mirror, creating two images with each image lasting for 8 minutes or until destroyed.


Other: Should Sisir fail to trigger Painful Stare twice on his own turn, he will attempt to trigger it any time the target of his Hypnotic Stare gets hit before his next turn, up to a maximum of two time in the round. Every such activation will deal 4 precision damage, and force a DC 20 Will Save vs becoming Confused for 1 round, for which it rolls twice to determine its actions while confused, and I choose which roll to use.

R1T16: Images of plate armor being forged fill Sisir mind, as his skin changes to resemble iron. He then intones the words of magic and calling on Kerkamoth inscribes the mystic symbols in the air. Defenses in place, Sisir strides past his brother towards the Scribe, fixing his gaze on the first enemy he sees, though by going south instead of passing his brother, he stumbles around in the bushes, slowing his progress. Still, he sees "Red" and gives it a royal stare.

R1T13-9: The plant monsters squeal-roar again and close. From 15' away, Red comes into view and snaps at Sisir as the titan steps out from some bushes. Meanwhile, Blue on the far side takes a page out of Sisir's book and moves through the plants themselves slowly to amble towards The Scribe.

R1T8: Akif, what do you do? If you go through a square that has 50% more of vegetation, it is difficult terrain.

Akif, now towering to his full height and feeling happy and full of his own personal strength looks at the plant creature over the bushes and leaps into the bush darting around the vegetation as he starts swaying in a mobile defensive posture before jabbing forward it.

R1T8: Akif, now towering to his full height and feeling happy and full of his own personal strength looks at the plant creature over the bushes and leaps into the bush darting around the vegetation - with a big bite failing to get through his armor - as he starts swaying in a mobile defensive posture before jabbing his spear forward into it for 58 + confused, and forcing the impaled creature south a few feet before withdrawing his spear. Now in a better position, he clobbers the monster with his shield for 18.

End Round One, Begin Round 2 ...

R2T18: The Scribe continues his helpful oration. Where he stands he seems to set up a dizzying defense with his polearm while at the same time, afterimages follow with him as he charges Blue to the east, having set up both a boost and a charging maneuver. He moves far too quickly and with great skill for Blue to counter before the smaller man reaches the massive plant monster for 24 + 6 fire. Despite the incredibly powerful blows of the titan causing muffled murmuring sounds from his target, for some reason the less damaging strike from the Scribe draws forth a notable scream of pain.

Iluvar senses it is time to get into the action moves his way carefully to the south and east and will use his move lment to get all the way to the Scribes side.

R2T16: Sisir steps forward and strikes out twice at the plant creature for a total of 43, and Red drops.

R2T15: Iluvar senses it is time to get into the action moves his way carefully to the south and east and will use his move lment to get all the way to the Scribe's side.

R2T15: The plant monster attacks Iluvar, but Sisir sees it and switches on Iluvar's mesmeric mirror, but the monster still hits him with a bite for 10, and with the other two tentacles it only swats the illusory protection away.

R2T9: Meanwhile the plant-monster to the north springs to life and tries to bite Akif, clamping onto his spear. The titan wrenches his spear quickly in a spin, spraining the monster's jaw for 3 DEX. One tentacle goes wild as it recoils in pain, but it then catches Akif with a lucky strike for 7 mod, but can't hold the giant.

End Round 2, Begin Round 3 ...

R3T18: Despite already facing off against a plant monster, The Scribe ignores the current one. Too quickly for Blue to respond to, The Scribe - continuing his oration - zips around and stabs his flaming ranseur into the mass of the fallen plant monster (Red). That is when Akif and Sisir realize that these things have incredible regeneration. "That one is dead now ... fire."

Sisir nods to the Scribe before speaking, "a welcome observation, now let us dispense with the rest." Images of a hall of mirrors fill Sisir's mind, as multiple illusory copies of himself appear round him, he then strides towards the next creatures and fixes his gaze on it.

R3T15: Iluvar makes a flying kick towards the plant-monster. It chomps at him but misses the deft monk. Iluvar lands with a kick atop its ... "head" ... the encouraging roar and The Scribe's oratory carrying the strike through for 22 as he somersaults back and lands on the ground to then deliver and upwards shovel punch under its low mass for 32 + confused, and finally with a spin kick to press deep to its side for 30.

R3T13: Confused and enraged, the monster regenerates a lot of its damage (10) and unloads on the painful bug that hurt it, but Iluvar stymies it at every turn.

R3T8: Akif, what do you do? Your encouraging roar was very helpful, but has since subsided.

Akif grins inside the helm as the first one falls, then looks tothe south east where he can hear more fighting, even if he can't see. On his long legs he bounds that way closing (if possible) to last out with a devastating shield strike.
