Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
I would apologize for posting here far less often than my usual (and for the massive walls of quotes that I leave when I do), but to be perfectly honest, I'm a bit tense and too worn out to actually mean it.
And while I will miss the company, the tangles of my hair shall not miss the mess you leave when you go.
That reminds me... I had a mind to record some things... I should get to that when I have the time.
Good to hear.
I'll have you know I laughed for a solid five minutes or so at this.
It was all memorization and math, and no precise manipulation of chemicals. That made it far easier to do. It's much easier to get a lab right if you don't have to hold something steady and measure it.
Look, I'm willing to accept a few punches in exchange for a game of chess. Just don't be surprised if I decide to bring some padding...
*nods* Well, you can always have some of mine...
*nods* Indeed.
Eh, but I'm kind of indifferent on what colour my eyes are... it doesn't bother me that they don't know what to pick. My driver's license says green, so officially that's what I go with.
Honestly, that's one of the hardest chords to do; it's in an awkward spot, and even with a lot of practice, it'll still feel weird to fret. I've only rather recently (in the past 6 months/year) been able to play it well consistently. If your action is too high (the strings too far from the frets), it'll be nigh-impossible to fret, and if your action is too low (strings too close to the frets), then it'll make a bunch of string noise regardless. It's a chord I try to avoid playing barred the whole way if I can.
*nods* Whatever works is good. I've found typing tabs up (courier new is a good font for that) works pretty well also - (and you can probably just copy-paste some tabs onto your computer)... granted, not as useful if you don't have a laptop, or can't practice in front of a desktop.
Heheheh
Well, I like a lot of things, and finding artists similar to a certain style isn't too difficult (although again, I'm more familiar with some things than I am with others), as long a you know what style you're looking for. Harp music I probably can't help you with, though.
*nods* Well, not always, but that does tend to happen in the winter here, aye.
For future reference, if I ever tell you this, you don't need to worry about me.
Feel better, Curly :\
I've always held that selfishness is a virtue. (although like everything else, should be taken in moderation).
Heh, I think I missed this the first time around... Brilliant!
Nay, it's hilarious as is.
Indeed. I think internet is the only way I stay occupied anymore... (and it's required for my schoolwork). I'd say "sane", but that's arguable, really.
*snicker*
Hrmph. And I actually liked Nokia, too. Hopefully their phones are still reasonably good.Last edited by Amidus Drexel; 2013-09-03 at 03:05 PM.

All hail CurlyKitGirl, mistress of all things written, spoken, typed, and (in extreme cases) gestured! She whose walls of text would rebuff the mightiest of trolls, and which ensure lengthy and well-educated discussion! She to whom the vile "TL;DR" is an abomination! Before her, our praises are as naught, for she could come up with better wording in her sleep! But we give them anyway, out of gratitude for the enlightenment which her presence heralds.
Seriously, though, I hope you feel better. :smallconcerned:

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
Heh, it's okay. Life has a tendency to get in the way of just about anyone at the strangest of times...
Well, hopefully, my worrying in overall should calm down a bit as my life settles into the daily rythm and stops being surprising and weird. Which may take some time, but still...
Thanks! :3
And while it may be hilarious, the visual typo does prevent me from posting it more often...
I can go a while without Internet for a while, but then other things should work for me or I'll quickly become frustrated. The Internet is where I go to calm down from frustration, it's my backup plan when all else fails, so I can become a bit testy if I have to go without it for too long...Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
See, this is why I feel more comfortable echoing others. They write much better.
This gets echoed too.
One would hope not.
Life needs to learn how to get off the road. People are busy having fun!
I love surprising weird, because whenever I recognize myself falling into a rhythm I want to break free and do something else. (This philosophy doesnt work very well with school...)
I did not miss it the first time. I also think it is brilliant.
I love it for both the "Tehee, Teddy used fauns" and the "Sheepyeti Faun Toss!"
Same with me, but I also use it to just lazeeeee.
Edit:I agree, Benedict Cumberbatch is *bad horrible pun*.
Also Edit:A page ago, Thur spoke about misreading "sleep addled" as "sheep addled". HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL? I'm just skimming a thread, being a happy little innocent sheep, and I see "sleep" and go "huebhwa ME?!?". Then I recognize how silly I am and go sleep myself.Last edited by Mutant Sheep; 2013-09-03 at 04:49 PM.

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
Well, Dragon*Con was a trip and a half. So much UST. More UST than anyone's body has room for. Which is why it was on the walls, the ceiling, and the neighbor's brony. Indeed, I think I gained some insight into the genesis and evolution of risque cosplay and cosplay porn. A sadder but wiser man, I think, though it was a pretty sweet ride at times as well.
So, how are you lot, then? I'm not dead, more's the pity for y'all, eh?
I see we've got a new feline, hello QueerKitty, hope you enjoy things, and the LGBTA thread has given you a rousing welcome as well. I'm sure you'll meet MoonCat in a jiffy if you stick around for a few days with this thread, and you've probably already seen Curlykitgrrrrrrrrrrrrl and Warkitty by now.
So many felicitous felines. More than your body has room for. *nods sagely*

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
Yep. Then my camera's battery died and I couldn't find the charger until the trip home.
>Implying I'd had time to read through the LGBTA thread too before posting that.
I might have some designs upon that sort of thing. Then again, I might not. I'm sure it'd greatly upset thufir, for starters. Though running from the ensuing lynch mob might make for a rousing musical number...
Good question. I don't really want to know. Or maybe you passed the test. :P
Indeed, some kind of spirit of camraderie, or at least being too busy being focused on getting to the next thing to crucify me for naturally being a bit too Thraddashy for my own good.

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
I am writing this late. One of my old friends was found dead and I found out about it today. We were not close but he still died alone out in the woods and nobody will say whether it was or was not suicide.
I understand. I am wordless in the face of that evil yet I only read about it and was not there. You were.
Most of that was not evil. Very bad but not evil. But that Bees was not punished was evil. If that was set right would you be able to talk again?
People clean ceilings? Ceilings get dirty? Doesn't dirt fall down?
The thermometer here is near the bathroom and so I pass it more than once a day. It is dry here and so the temperature changes every day and keeps it interesting.
Thank you. I wondered why I could hear the strings go squeak sometimes but never asked.I have found a RL gaming group but I'm willing to meet other GitP people nearby.

Re: Dallas-Dakota's Dastardly and Devious Dancing Debate of Random Banter #198
It was. Also, there were like, 3 Ecto-1s that were part of the parade.
Depends on if you like being touched or not, but I'm a fan. Granted, I seem to be hyper-libidinous when compared to my peers, aside from the type that likes to actively think of themselves as "alpha males" and mostly spend their time blustering and posturing.
I like GSRM more myself, but it seems to be less accessible to general conversation and always reminds me of the DSM-V. x.x
